Description:This report opens with a brief history of the development of chlorophyll analyses, and then reviews chlorophyll structure, propertiesand degradation characteristics. Described are sample collection, preparation,and measurement (spectrophotometric, fluorometric, chromatographic, and remote sensing methods). Some aspects of chlorophyll methodology requiring further study are discussed. Includes 270 references.
