Description:In previous reports of progress on this research, Decker (1966) (1971) , it has been shown that it is possible to estimate the magnitude of the downward (Rs+) and upward (Rs+) flux of solar radiation and the downward (Rt+) and upward (R++) flux of terrestrial radiation by measurements from two pyranometers and two radiometers. The pyranometers used in this study are Eppley instruments, one of which is inverted to intercept the reflected solar energy; while the radiometers are the ventilated type (originally designed by Gier and Dunkle).
