Description:Solar energy is becoming increasingly emphasized as an alternative to fossil fuels as an energy source. Since the use of solar energy is very dependent on weather and climate, the National Weather Service (NWS) is increasingly being asked to provide solar users with various weather related. information. There is a lot of information on solar energy available and much useful weather information for the user. Unfortunately, the information is scattered among numerous sources, not all of which have been available at National Weather Service Offices.
