Description:In the spirit of scientific cooperation, the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) contributes to future realizations of the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) by providing the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) with local tie information for geodetic techniques co-located at IERS Network Sites considered a priority by that service. Within NGS, these type surveys are the responsibility of the IERS Site Survey (ISS) program. During July and August of 2011, the NGS ISS program conducted a local tie vector survey at IERS network site BREWSTER. Two geodetic techniques are co-located at this site; a Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) radio telescope operated by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and an International GNSS Service (IGS) tracking station operated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). No previous tie vector information had been determined between the two technique represented at this site. This report documents the instrumentation, procedures, data analysis, and local tie information results associated with this survey.
