  Lobster Stock Assessment During 1995 the port samplers collected catch and effort data from 313 lobster boats which landed catches at 48 randomly selected dealers located from Kittery east to Cutler. Total catch sampled weighed 31.1 tons and consisted of 48,563 lobsters with a mean weight of 580.9 g (1.28 lbs) and carapace length of 89.7 mm (3.5 in.).
