Description:

The primary focus of this proposal was the continuation of the commercial catch sampling program for Atlantic herring and Atlantic mackerel along the east coast. Additional samples were also collected on request and included sampling for herring morphometrics, herring genetics, herring spawning activity, large mackerel outside of the targeted fishery and stomach contents for investigation into the offshore prevalence of biotoxins.
