Description:From May 14th - June 9th, 2024 (Honolulu, Hawai’i, to Honolulu, Hawai’i), NOAA Ocean Exploration conducted the Beyond the Blue: Hawai’i Mapping expedition (EX2402), a mapping expedition to waters south of the island of Hawai’i. EX2402 mapped 43,113 sq. km of seafloor (35,515 in the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone deeper than 200m water depth) and conducted one conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) deployment.
