  From March 17 - March 27, 2025, Honolulu, Hawaiʻi to Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, NOAA Ocean Exploration conducted the Beyond the Blue: 2025 ROV and Mapping Shakedown expedition (EX2502), a shakedown expedition around the main Hawaiian Islands. EX2502 mapped 4,183 sq. km of seafloor (4,183 in the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone).
