Description:While the basic technology on modifying and controlling atmospheres has had considerable history and exposure its application in the seafood industry has been minimal. It is our responsibility to bring new technologies forward and expose them for proper evaluation and to encourage their safe utilization. This conference has produced a matrix of academia, industry, and suppliers to that industry, that hold the keys that unlock new technological advances. These efforts must be supported and nurtured, we cannot afford to sit back now that we have come this far.
