Wherever possible, redundant tests have been merged. In some instances, these tests have been simplified and are less rigorous than those recommended by the established providers of current data. A balance must be struck between the time-sensitive needs of real-time observing systems and the degree of rigor that has been applied to non-real-time systems by operators with decades of QC experience"--Summary.
