"This memorandum provides a summary of the second Pacific Islands Watershed Institute (PIWI2) held May 20-22, 2015 at the Susupe Multi-Purpose Center on Saipan, CNMI. The PIWI2 was a three-day training workshop sponsored by the CNMI Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality (BECQ) and NOAA and conducted by Horsley Witten Group (HW) and the Center for Watershed Protection (CWP), with support from CUC. PIWI2 included hands-on training focused on illicit discharge detection and elimination (IDDE), stormwater BMP tracking and maintenance, and drainage improvements for unpaved roads. Most of the course was spent in the field"--Page 1.
