Description:"The project entitled: Developing a Provincial Marine Protected Area (MPA) Management Effectiveness Program in the Province of Cebu, Philippines of the Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation (CCEF) concluded its 18-month intervention in 14 MPAs in the Municipalities of San Remigio, Tabuelan and Tuburan in March 31, 2010. The over-all goal of the project is to improve the management effectiveness of MPAs by conducting multi-sectoral capacity building activities and implementing a provincial learning network to support the CRM and MPA management effectiveness program of the Province of Cebu through the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office. This terminal report discusses mainly the project approaches and interventions conducted during the entire 18 month project and the accomplishments and results of these in each of the 14 pilot MPAs in terms of improving their management effectiveness."--Introduction.
