Description:"A total of eight operational longline sets were conducted during the cruise (Table 2) with catch details by gear provided in Tables 1 and 2. Trolling operations were important in order to catch live fish for physiological experiments. A turtle dehooking device was experimented on released sharks. Three samples of scalloped hammerhead shark, two bigeye thresher sharks and one striped marlin were conventionally tagged (Table 3). Biological samples for ongoing physiological and hearing studies were obtained from select live fish"--Narrative summary.
