Description:Conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) casts to 1000 m depth were conducted outside, at the edge, and at the center of an anticyclonic and a cyclonic open ocean eddy to the south of the Hawaiian archipelago, near 21°N, 159.2°W and 18°N, 159.5°W for the cyclonic and anticyclonic eddy
respectively.
