Description:This document provides a detailed description of the sampling sites located in the Gulf of Mexico. This report contains the site descriptions for all the sites visited during Period 3 (Phases 1 through 5) and the field collections for Year 15, the 1999-2000 sampling. The Gulf Coast region in the NOAA National Status and Trends (NS&T) Mussel Watch Program consists of 87 sites extending from the southern tip of the Florida peninsula to the Lagune Madre in South Texas, including three (3) sites located in Puerto Rico.
