"For this project: the power variable was set to one to generate a linear interpolation between stations, the number of neighboring stations used in the interpolation was to two to try to find the closet upstream and downstream stations and a maximum distance variable of 100 miles was used to limit the distance to look for surrounding stations"--Interpolation.
