Description:University of Georgia’s Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant (UGA MAREX & GA SG) promotes marine science education using “hands on, feet in” experiential learning for all ages outside the typical classroom. As marine educators with UGA MAREX & GA SG, we teach PreK-12 students, teachers, college students, and the public about Georgia’s coastal ecosystems, their importance, and encroaching issues that threaten them.
