Description:Ocean Pulse is a program designed for continuous monitoring of and associated research necessary for forecasting the condition of coastal waters in the Northeast region. The goal is to determine the extent to which man's activities, particularly chronic and acute pollution and habitat modification, are affecting the elements of our living resources. The program provides an integrated marine environmental assessment, which an interdisciplinary base incorporating traditional and innovative measurements of resource status.
