Description:

The Quicksands Archaeological Survey sought to collect baseline information about archaeological resources in the area, which had received little focused effort from sanctuary managers. To collect this information a research team comprised of ONMS staff and researchers from UM/RSMAS conducted a two-week mission to document previously reported archaeological sites and to locate new archaeological sites.
