Description:Survey operations occurred over the continental shelf south of North Carolina, and in inner slope waters near the continental shelf break north of Cape Hatteras. The survey was focused on sampling efforts supporting the evaluation of population structure for marine mammal stocks, specifically bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales, in U.S. Atlantic waters.
