Description:NOAA's Office of Undersea Research provides scientific support for a broad range of research activities that meet the mission requirements of the agency or deal with overriding national science concerns. During 1985, the Office conducted three major programs in support of undersea research. These are the Submersible Science Program, the National Undersea Research Program (a network of university-based undersea science programs) and the Diving Research and Development Program. This report describes science activities for the first two programs.
