Description:

The Plan covers the period from November 1 to April 15 -- that time of year normally having the highest incidence of winter storms. This version is the ninteenth edition of the Plan and represents a general update of information published in previous editions. This edition also incorporates west coast storm tracks. These tracks were coordinated and flown on a test basis in February/March 1992 in support of the national "STORMFEST" project.
