Description:The Gulf of Maine Global Ocean Observing System (GoMA GOOS) is intended to provide monitoring capacity and address information needs to support Ecosystem-Based Fisheries Management (EBFM) in the region. The Gulf of Maine Council is developing a suite of indicators to characterize the State of the Gulf. Contacts should be developed within the Gulf of Maine Council so that the two groups’ efforts are complementary.
