NOAA’s Tsunami Mission is to provide reliable tsunami forecasts and warnings, and to promote community resiliency. To accomplish the forecast and warning, NOAA relies on real-time access to global environmental data including seismic, Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting ofTsunamis, and coastal water level (tide gauge) data. This Report focuses on the acquisition, processing, distribution, long-term archive of, and access to, these data. Gaps in the end-to-end system are identified and recommendations made to address vulnerabilities.
