Description:"The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) proposes to issue several one-year Incidental Harassment Authorizations (IHA) for takes of marine mammals in the wild, pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, as amended (MMPA, 16 U.S.C. 1361 et seq.). The IHAs would authorize the incidental taking, by Level B harassment of small numbers of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) during confined blasting operations on the deepening of Miami Harbor in Miami-Dade County, Florida"--Abstract.
