Description:

Seven coastal lagoons that stretch along Rhode Island's ocean shore from Watch Hill on the Connecticut border northeastward to Point Judith, Rhode Island have been monitored by a volunteer group since 1985. The 'Salt Pond Watchers' have provided long-term monitoring that is reliable, cost-efficient and effective. This summary of their data reflects those findings.
