Description:Members of the University of New Hampshire's 2003 Mini-Baja East team designed a water propulsion and flotation system for an off-road, water and trail vehicle. In this report the students discuss their theoretical analysis including calculations for the flotation and Finite Element Analysis of the rear fenders. Physical analysis consists of test tank data and actual vehicle testing. The resulting vehicle ranked tenth in the water maneuverability portion of the competition and twenty-fourth overall.
