Description:

The Masonboro Inlet system is a complex arrangement of channels connecting the coastal waterways to the Atlantic Ocean. The flow through the system was computed by means of a numerical simulation model based on the equations of unsteady flow which represent the laws for the conservation of mass and momentum.
