Description:The Deepwater Horizon oil spill was the largest marine oil spill in the history of the United States. Though the impacts to the environment have been well documented and studied extensively, widespread consequences to humans also took place. Human impacts recorded over the past ten years include physical and mental health effects along with socioeconomic and community resilience challenges.
