Description:Processed bathymetry, magnetic, and gravity data, collected between 1961 and 1967 in the North Pacific area bounded by longitudes 152°W and 166 W and latitudes 48°N and 54°N (SEAMAP Area 15248-14), and some data collected north of 54 N in SEAMAP Area 15254-14, are listed in computer printout format. More than 20,000 evaluated data points from Project Pacific SEAMAP surveys are included. Pacific SEAMAP surveys were initiated in 1961 by the Coast and Geodetic Survey and continued after July 1965 by the C&GS of the Environmental Science Services Administration and after Uctober 1970 by the National Ocean Survey of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Admimstration. The listing identifies the vessel, cruise, position and time of each bathymetric measurement, corrected depth, correction applied for sound velocity variation, total magnetic field intensity, magnetic anomaly, observed gravity, free-air gravity anomaly, and gravity meter used.
