Description:

The purpose of this publication is to provide National Weather Service personnel with a ready reference of information that my be useful when preparing weather stories and radio scripts, when talking to mass-media reporters, and when answering questions from the general public. This seventh revision differs from the sixth revised tabulation in that a number of new extremes have been updated and previous errors have been corrected.
