Description:The primary objective of the cruise was to assess changing biological and physical properties which influence the sustainable productivity of the living marine resources of the mid-Atlantic Bight, southern New England, Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank portions of the northeast continental shelf ecosystem. A secondary objective of this cruise was to extend sampling for the EPA National Coastal Assessment (NCA) Program beyond coastal waters offshore onto the continental shelf.
