Description:The cruise period was from 5 November to 5 December 2010. The cruise was originally due to sail on 4 November but was delayed a day due to bad weather. The cruise was divided into two legs. The first leg was devoted to the Ecosystem Monitoring Survey and NASA Ground Truth Measurements and covered almost all of the Gulf of Maine (the northernmost station was missed), part of Georges Bank and the Southern New England and Mid-Atlantic Bight areas (the southernmost station was missed). The second leg was devoted to completing unfinished stations on Georges Bank from the first leg and conducting a survey of fish eggs and larvae from the Georges Bank, Nantucket Shoals and western Gulf of Maine areas.
