Habitat suitability models for American shad and river herring were evaluated and modified according to current literature and personal communications with individuals knowledgeable of anadromous fish populations in Virginia. Site assessments were conducted to illustrate the use of the modified models in determining habitat quality and quantity."--leaf 30.
