"Erickson presented data for Washington showing the probability of a thunderstorm day, given the knowledge that a given number of consecutive thunderstorm days have already occurred. Mr. Robert S. Ingram, Meteorologist in Charge of the Weather Service Forecast Office in Phoenix, Arizona, suggested that similar data be prepared for Phoenix using precipitation days"--Page 1.
