• Description:
  This atlas contains global maps of the climatological distribution of chlorophyll at selected standard depth levels on a one-degree grid. Maps for all-data annual and seasonal compositing periods are presented at standard depth levels. Seasonal differences (from the annual mean) fields are also presented for chlorophyll at the surface. The fields used to generate these maps were computed by objective analysis of historical data.
