The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), receives federal funding under the provisions of Title ill of P.L. 99-659, the Interjurisdictional Fisheries Act of 1986 to facilitate interstate fisheries management through the collection and management of commercial catch and effort statistics for inter-jurisdictional species harvested in Maryland.
