  This project exists to annually monitor and evaluate the effects and changes impacting the status of traditional commercial fish stocks and the potential inclusion of new species into the commercial fishery. This progress report will include a summary of the commercial and charter fishing operations in the Minnesota waters of Lake Superior, a description of non-target species taken in the commercial catch for 1993, and a summary of forage species taken in MNDNR assessment gill nets in 1993.
