Description:

Based on the information presented during the five-year science review, CIWRO has demonstrated excellent progress across its five core science themes, along with significant achievements in education, outreach, training, and the transition of research to operations. These contributions directly support NOAA's mission to enhance societal resilience to severe weather. The Review Team unanimously concluded that CIWRO deserves an "Outstanding" rating for excellence in scientific research, operational transition, education and outreach, and overall management.
