Description:NOAA's Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), within the National Ocean Service (NOS), is the authoritative source for accurate, reliable, and timely tides, water levels, currents, and other coastal oceanographic information. Its mission is to ensure safe, efficient and environmentally sound maritime commerce as well as to support the nation's economy and safeguard coastal communities with coastal oceanographic information accessible by anyone, at any time. Verified water level observations go through rigorous automated and manual quality control and processing to publicly deliver these observations on a variety of time steps: six-minute, hourly, daily maximums and minimums, daily means for Great Lakes stations, and monthly means.
