  On 1 Feb 95 Carver Shellfish, Inc. received a Financial Assistance Award from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the amount of $37,668 to evaluate the commercial feasibility of developing value added products using lobster processing waste by-products. Equipment needed to recover useable lobster meat from lobster bodies in the form of paste would be purchased and evaluated. Value added consumer products made from this paste would be examined for their commercial and institutional suitability as new products to be introduced into the marketplace.
