Description:Operating under a grant from the EPA's Chesapeake Bay Program, the PFBC contracted the Pennsylvania State University Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit to conduct the Susquehanna River Basin Blockage Inventory. The inventory identified and characterized impediments to fish migration on major tributaries to the lower Susquehanna River and quality and quantity of accessible habitat once provisions for fish passage are implemented. The inventory is being used to establish a priority list of blockages for fish passage projects.
