Description:

The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries participates in ACFCMA by continuing to enhance its staff capabilities in the areas of Information Systems, Fisheries Economics and Population Dynamics. Specifically, these enhanced capabilities allow the Division to develop and conduct more efficient quota monitoring systems, evaluate economic and population dynamics data as it relates to fisheries management plans, including plans developed by both the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission and the Regional Fisheries Management Councils; assist DMF research and management projects with data entry and information systems development.
