Description:The primary focus of the restoration to date has been the American shad. The restoration approach involves egg collection, hatchery production, trap and transfer of pre-spawn adults, monitoring of adult populations below Conowingo Dam, monitoring of juvenile and adult shad populations above Conowingo Dam, and special studies as identified by SRAFRC.
