Description:The purpose of this investigation was to develop and implement an electronic reporting system for Maine based dealers who buy product directly from harvesters, focusing on American lobster (Homarus americanus) and softshell clam (Mya arenaria). This report describes a second attempt at fulfilling the objectives of the original proposal (see report: "Feasibility Study of Electronic Data Collection in the Maine Shellfish Industry", Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program Grant No: NA16FG1218, November, 2001).
