Description:An important aspect of the restoration of Atlantic salmon ( Sa/mo sa/ar) to the Connecticut River involves the production of smolts through fry stocking. Because little is know about smolt production from fry stocking, including numbers produced and cross-tributary variation, a three-year study of fry stocked smolt production in Vermont tributaries was initiated.
