Description:A hydrologic term of importance to each person respansible for preparing a stage forecast is "Antecedent Index". This paper will brietly explain the concept of Antecedent Index (AI) and show you haw varying it a few tenths may produce vastly ditterent results. The AI is a by-product af the Antecedent Precipitation Index (API).
