Description:In conjunction with development of statistical models for prediction of tropical cyclone motion in the Eastern North Pacific Ocean, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has compiled tracks of tropical cyclones occuring during the period of 1949-1979. This study presents computer plots of these storm tracks for intraseasonal periods ranging from ten days to one month. Basic statistics concerning storm frequencies are also included.
