Some interesting statistics were noted while information was being gathered for From E-19 "REPORT ON RIVER GAGE STATION" for West Enfield, Maine. As can be seen from the table below, there has been a significant increase in the number of times that the maximum annual stage exceeded flood stage during the past twenty years.
