Description:The table presented here shows the status of species life-history mapping and digitizing that is being conducted as part of the Ocean Assessment' Division's Strategic Assessment Program. The program focuses on the four most important and intensely used regions of the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and adjacent coastal areas of the USA: 1) East Coast; 2) Gulf of Mexico; 3) Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort Seas (the ice-stressed region of Alaska); and 4) West Coast and Gulf of Alaska.
